Until the end of March 2015, the Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe hotel hosts a one of a kind photographic exhibition: “Revealed”.
For the first time in Europe, the public will have access to 30 unique photographs of the world’s most famous names in  modern and contemporary art, in the intimate setting of their workshops: Picasso, Dali, Miro, Chagall, Soulages, Koons, Keith Haring…

Pablo Picasso, at home in Cannes
Marc Chagall, painting the Opera Garnier ceiling in Paris

The photographs were taken from the photo archives of Paris Match and selected by Olivier Widmaier Picasso, the exhibition’s commissioner and grandson of Pablo Picasso himself. Premiering in Europe and Paris, the exhibition has already appeared in Sofitel hotels in New York, Washington D.C., Chicago and Montreal.

Salvador Dali
Kees Van Dongen with Brigitte Bardot

Very proud of this photographic exhibition coinciding with the recent reopening of the Picasso National Museum in Paris, Picasso’s grandson declared that “by making this selection, and by immersing myself once again in these photos, I have rediscovered these incredible documents which capture the intimacy of my grandfather and the other major artists featured in the exhibit.”

Joan Miro in Majorque
Jean Cocteau
This travelling exhibition highlights culture, one of the fundamental pillars of France’s
leading luxury hotel chain. Indeed, Sofitel
makes links between its hotels and culture by engaging with famous artists, writers
and photographers.
