I attended the opening of “I Feel Fine”, the new must-see exhibition in Paris
showcasing for the first time a selection of pictures of the Beatles by famed
photographer Harry Benson.
The exhibition is named after the Fab Four’s legendary hit, which was composed at the piano that was installed in one of their suites at the hotel 😉

The Four Seasons Hotel George V was the home of the Beatles during their 1964 French tour, for which Harry Benson was lucky to be the official photographer. His privileged relationship with the band led to photographs that are among the most famous of the Beatles, such as the one showing them having a pillow fight in one of the hotel suites.

50 years on, the “I Feel Fine” exhibition is showcased in the hotel lobby and in front of Le Bar – all delightfully staged by Jeff Leatham, for whom Harry Benson’s “images are the quintessential legendary photos that you always recognize and never forget”.

pictures taken both at the hotel and outside (during their concerts at the Paris
Olympia), the exhibition also gives more insights on the background and context
of each. You discover for example that the famous pillow fight came from a
suggestion of Harry Benson, to celebrate the news that “I Want to Hold your
had just become number 1 in
the United States…

Definitely an exhibition to see if you are in Paris
until June 30th!
