Beauty review : a new ritual with Phytomer

May 18, 2014 | Parisian Eye
My Phytomer beauty ritual – shit with my Leica
If you are a regular reader of The
Parisian Eye, you probably know that beauty is, with travel, fashion and jewelry,
one of my main focuses : I love to try new products and brands, and share
my experiences. Recently, I got to rediscover a brand that I hadn’t heard from
in many years : Phytomer.
Established 40 years ago, Phytomer
has built a reputation as a world-class expert in marine biotechnologies and pioneer
in R&D, conceiving a variety of record-breaking marine active ingredients
for their products and treatments.
Focusing on developing top
ingredients and fomulas, Phytomer seemed to neglect their image in the past few
years… This is changing, as the brand is now available with revisited,
contemporary and sexy packages – as well as a brand new website : reasons
good enough to make me want to try their products !
The beauty ritual I started with
Phytomer a few weeks ago includes 3 products from the men’s range : Global
Pur, Rasage Perfect and Facial Control.
One of the secrets to great skin is,
before anything else, good cleansing. Global Pur, Phytomer’s detoxifying gel,
does it very well – especially if, like me, your skin tends to get oily: its
astringent agents tighten dilated pores. Beyond that, it contains extracts of
Corallina Officinalis red alga, rich in calcium and magnesium :
specifically appropriate for masculine skin, it has strong detoxifying and
oxygenating properties.
My skin feels refueled and revived
everytime I use it, morning or evening – and nothing’s better than this
ultra-fresh feeling !
Trying this new range, I came
accross something totally new – and it doens’t happen often with men’s
cosmetics: Phytomer’s Rasage Perfect.
Better than a classical shaving
cream or foam, it’s a shaving mask. Very handy for those always on the run –
like me, Phytomer’s shaving mask can be used both as shaving foam and a face
mask. Not only does it make shaving easier and smoother, it also has variety of
side benefits, from oxygenation to moisturizing and protection from
free-radicals… What more could I ask for ?
After a good cleansing
and shaving, the next logical step is, of course, moisturizing. And Phytomer’s
Facial Control does it very well. It’s a light, non-oily cream-gel which
moisturizes and stops skin-shine thanks to Marine Oligosaccharide : trust me, healthy complexion guaranteed 😉

These 3 products, use
together, have definitely helped my skin look fresh and healthy in the past
weeks. I can’t wait to try more from Phytomer’s men’s range !
