Introducing La Panthère, the new fragrance by Cartier

Apr 03, 2014 | Parisian Eye
The panther is the symbol of Cartier‘s femininity:  divine , exquisite , rebellious… In one word, free ! Back in the 80’s, it inspired a first perfume to the Maison. A modern version has just been released, created by Cartier nose Mathilde Laurent. “La Panthère” is centred around gardenia, which floral character will contrast with notes of musk and chypre.
Always ahead and at the forefront of a unique know-how for their jewelry masterpieces, Cartier also proves it with the unprecedented bottle of “La Panthère”, sclupted from the inside… A premiere in perfumery, with a cubist interpretation of the panther’s head.
Erin Wasson has been chosen as the face of La Panthère, appearing in a campaign video shot by Sean Ellis and a print campaign by Peter Lindbergh.
