With Citadines and Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque, turn on a light to save a heart !

Mar 20, 2014 | Parisian Eye
I have not posted about my great experience at the exclusive Citadines Suites Louvre Paris yet, but their latest initiative in order to support Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque needs to be spread widely.

From March 20 to April 17, everyone can go online at,
on social networks, or actually go to a Citadines residence in order to turn on the “Citadines Heart Lights big screen”, and help save the lives of children
with heart diseases. Each gift of
€5 or more, made online
or deposited in the boxes in the European Citadines residences, illuminates
an enormous heart made up of 12,000 LED lights in Citadines Prestige
Saint-Germain-des-Prés in Paris.

Throughout the
entire duration of this event, an exhibition in the residence’s foyer will be
dedicated to 12 of the Association’s sponsors, personalities and famous
artists, in the form of 12 photos by Harcourt Studios. These photos will be
sold at auction, with all proceeds going to Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque.
Throughout the world, almost one child in a hundred is born with a heart
malformation. Only private funding can allow Mécénat Chirurgie
Cardiaque to perform operations on
these children, who come to France from countries where life-saving surgery is
impossible due to a lack of technical means or funding.
Founded in 1996, the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque has operated on over 2200 children to date.
