Aug 06, 2012 | Parisian Eye
High temperatures are finally here in Europe, and it starts feeling like
summer, at last. And high temperatures mean sun, and wether or not you spend
summer at the seaside or in the city, there is one essential thing to keep in
mind : sunscreen.
Let me introduce you to my last discovery when it comes to sun protection
: Sol
de Janeiro. Coming directly from Brazil, the brand has captured the country’s
main features : smiles, bodies, beauty and lush nature. Sol de Janeiro strikes
a perfect balance between innovative, hard-working products and sensory appeal:
all formulas are made exclusively from natural Brazilian plant and mineral

exclusively at Sephora, Sol de Janeiro offers UVA/UVB protection in a
generous range of SPF 8 to 50. The 10-piece line includes 7 face and/or body
sunscreens suitable for use on tattoos, plus 1 hair sunscreen. These fruits cented
products are formulated with star fruit, coconut, mango and Brazil nut – all only
premium ingredients that look and feel great and do the body good.

My favourites are :

The tattoo balm, SPF 50
Especially formulated for the tattoed, it
preserves their colours from the sun and makes them look more fabulous
than ever. The baume is formulated with essential oils and natural plant
extracts including Açai, Café Verde and Brazil nut :
The Carambole sunscreen, SPF 15, SPF 30, SPF 50
These sunscreens shield the skin from
the harmful rays of the sun.
Available in medium (SPF 15) and high (SPF 30 and SPF 50) levels of protection, the cream coats the skin with a non-greasy film. Formulated with natural plant and
mineral extracts such as Pink Tourmaline, Café Verde, Açai, Cupuaçu and Brazil
nut to nourish the skin, leaving it soft and supple :

The hydrating and refreshing coconut gel
After a hard
day’s sunbathing, your skin will love this indulgent coconut water hydrating body gel. It soothes, hydrates and helps the skin recover from excessive heat
